Billy Samuel Mwape is a technology expert with more than 18 years of experience in the mining and banking sectors, specializing in digital transformation, IT Strategy, ICT Operations, Telecommunications, Solution Development and Artificial Intelligence, amongst others.

He is a certified Project Management Consultant and educator, recognized for his achievements in Agile business strategy, Project Management and Leadership. A TED speaker and distinguished toastmaster, Mwape is the Chief Information Officer at FNB (First National Bank) of Zambia, an Information and Communication Technology Committee Board Member for Zambia Electronic Clearing House Limited, Region Mentor of Project Management Institute Sub Saharan Africa and a Council Member for the Heriot-Watt University Alumni Association. Mwape has presented at more than 20 global speaking engagements, including virtual and in-person presentations. Notable, he participated in the PM4TheWorld Charity conference, raising more than US$16,000 for UNICEF to support Ukranian war victims and supported earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey through the same platform.

He has spoken at PMI Conferences in Lagos, Nairobi, Angola; the 2022 APPortunity conference on social equity; African Artificial Intelligence Summit and also at the PMI Global Summits in Las Vegas and Kigali.
