The importance of decarbonising the construction industry in Mauritius

Decarbonizing the construction industry in Mauritius is not only essential for environmental sustainability but also offers economic, health, and regulatory benefits. Ms Laurena Erriah and Rishta Ramanah-Rajiah are co-presenting on this topic. Laurena is a certified energy auditor with the Association of Energy Engineers and a Registered Professional Engineer of Mauritius. Rishta is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001. She is currently serving as QHSE & Sustainability Manager at Kolos Cement Ltd. Additionally, she also serves on the board of the Green Building Council Mauritius.
